Japan travel highlights Ouchi-juku and Mount Fuji

Travel experiences in Japan highlight various regional attractions, from the historic streets of Ouchi-juku in Fukushima to the summit of Mount Fuji.

In Fukushima, visitors explored the scenic area of Ouchi-juku, noting its tranquil atmosphere and traditional landscape. Highlights included visiting Takakura Shrine, browsing local Aizu lacquerware, and dining on walnut soba noodles. The area also features the unique thatched-roof Yunokami Onsen Station.

On Mount Fuji, climbers journeyed to the summit to witness the sunrise (Goraiko). Despite challenges such as altitude sickness and sleep deprivation at mountain huts, hikers experienced the distinctive views from the peak during the early morning hours.
