Japan travel promotions offer discounts for Amami Oshima and various hotels

Various travel promotions are being launched in Japan, offering significant discounts for domestic tourism.

Skypac Tours has introduced the ‘Amami Gunto Shimameguriwari’ coupon for its ‘Tasutabi’ dynamic packages, which combine Skymark Airlines flights with hotel stays. Utilizing subsidies from the Amami Islands Wide Area Union, the promotion offers discounts of 10,000 yen per person for two-night stays and 15,000 yen for stays of three nights or more in the Amami Oshima area. The booking period runs from September 14, 2026, to February 26, 2027, for travel between September 2026 and March 2027. Users must complete a survey to qualify for the subsidy.

Separately, Rakuten Travel is hosting its ‘Super SALE’ through October 1, offering up to 35% off various accommodations. Among the featured deals is Kamenoi Hotel Atami in Shizuoka Prefecture, which provides seasonal dining plans including local ingredients like splendid alfonsino and oysters. The hotel is scheduled for a renewal opening in March 2026.
