Japan Unveils 2026 Code Geass and Gintama 20th‑Anniversary Exhibitions

The Code Geass franchise will hold a 20th‑anniversary exhibition in Tokyo from September 4 to October 12, 2026, at Space Galleria in Ikebukuro, followed by a Osaka showing from November 6 to December 7 at Space Gratus. Advance tickets for the Tokyo venue go on sale on July 25, 2026, with prices of ¥2,200 for early‑bird tickets and ¥2,500 for day‑of purchase. The event will feature exclusive merchandise, including acrylic stands, key‑holders, metal accessories and limited‑edition pillow covers designed by series staff.

Separately, the Gintama series is marking its 20th anniversary with a related exhibition and a line‑up of Ichiban Kuji lottery items. The prize set, priced at ¥800 per unit, begins sales on August 21, 2026, at Lawson stores, bookstores and hobby shops, and includes character figurines, acrylic charms, stickers and a special monochrome edition of the lead character. The collectibles celebrate the series’ long‑running popularity and its recent films released in 2026.
