The articles explain that downloading or sharing these works can constitute copyright infringement under Japanese law, punishable by up to two years’ imprisonment or fines of up to ¥2 million. They also warn that the sites frequently host malware, phishing scams, and fraudulent advertising that can compromise personal data and finances. Legal alternatives like FANZA, which offers coupons, sales, and a subscription‑read‑all‑you‑want service, are presented as safe ways to access the titles.
