South Korea's U-23 men's football team has advanced to the 2026 Asian Games final after a 2-1 comeback victory against China at Nagai Stadium in Osaka. China took an early lead in the 22nd minute through a strike by Wang Yudong, but South Korea responded in the 33rd minute when Lee Young-jun scored a header following a corner kick from Eom Ji-sung.

After a tense first half, the match remained deadlocked until the 82nd minute, when Bae Jun-ho secured the win with a header from an Eom Ji-sung cross. The victory puts South Korea on the verge of a historic fourth consecutive Asian Games gold medal.

South Korea will face either Japan or Uzbekistan in the final, which is scheduled to take place on October 3 at Toyota Stadium. Japan reached the final after defeating Uzbekistan in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw.
