Japanese actor and voice actor Dai Tsuchida passed away on October 11 due to heart failure, according to an announcement by his agency, 81 Produce. He was 54 years old.

Tsuchida had a diverse career spanning live-action, anime, video games, and dubbing. He was well known for his role as Ninja Blue (Saizo) in ‘Ninja Sentai Kakuranger’. In the realm of voice acting, he provided the Japanese dub for Lightning McQueen in the ‘Cars’ film series and voiced characters in prominent titles such as ‘Attack on Titan’, ‘Naruto’, ‘One Piece’, and ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! GX’.

In the gaming industry, his notable roles included G5 Iguaz in ‘Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon’ and Kazuki in the ‘Like a Dragon’ series. Following the wishes of his family, funeral services were held privately.
