Japanese actors UTA and Hiromitsu Kitayama promote new TV Tokyo dramas

Several Japanese actors attended press conferences for upcoming TV Tokyo dramas.

Actor UTA, son of Masahiro Motoki and Nayako Uchida, discussed his role in the new drama ‘Akato Elegie’. For his second acting project, UTA will attempt the Kansai dialect for a character set in Osaka. He noted the challenge of learning the accent through daily recording and practice to prepare for the role.

Meanwhile, Hiromitsu Kitayama attended a press conference for the drama ‘Watashi ga Anata to Iru Riyuu 2’, which was filmed on location in Guam. The series follows eight individuals seeking love over ten days. Kitayama shared experiences regarding the intense filming conditions, including navigating jet skis alongside drones and participating in local spiritual rituals to combat harsh weather during the shoot.
