Japanese anime series release new episode details and broadcast schedules

Updates have been released regarding the upcoming broadcast schedules and plot details for two Japanese animated series.

For the series ‘Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san’, episode 9, titled ‘Yomi Gaeri’, is scheduled for broadcast on TOKYO MX on August 28. The plot follows the character Kamui, who descends to hell after being drained of energy by a succubus and must confront Enma Daiou to return to the living world. The series is produced by Wave Co., Ltd. under the ‘Deregu’ label, with a Blu-ray and DVD release set for December 23, 2026.

Additionally, the original TV anime ‘Grow Up Show: Himawari no Circus-dan’, produced by Aniplex, A-1 Pictures, and Psyde Kick Studio, has released details for episode 9, ‘Is That Kindness All a Lie?’. Set during Japan’s high economic growth period, the story follows the members of the Himawari Circus. The upcoming episode involves characters Mizuka and Sakura observing Rin making a mysterious phone call, leading to a pursuit of an unexpected individual.
