Mazda is introducing a 3.3-liter, 6-cylinder e Skyactiv D diesel engine for its CX 60 SUV. The engine utilizes 48V mild hybrid technology and DCPCI combustion technology to maintain efficiency and smooth operation in heavy vehicles.

Toyota is launching a new generation of engines, including 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter units designed to meet Euro 7 standards. These new four-cylinder engines are more compact and efficient than previous models, with the 1.5-liter hybrid expected to reduce fuel consumption by 12%. Toyota's approach emphasizes a multi-pathway strategy involving hybrids, hydrogen, and traditional gasoline engines.
