Japanese automakers Honda and Toyota launch new models in Turkey

Honda has reintroduced its ZR‑V hybrid SUV to the Turkish market after it was temporarily withdrawn due to extra taxes on Chinese‑origin vehicles. The model returns with a 2.0‑litre hybrid powertrain delivering 143 PS and 186 Nm from the gasoline engine plus an electric motor boost of 135 kW and 315 Nm, and is priced at 4,970,000 TL.

Toyota announced that the new generation Hilux pickup will be available in Turkey in August. The model will be offered with a range of powertrains, including diesel, gasoline, a 48 V mild‑hybrid, and an all‑electric version that promises a 240‑km range from a 59.2 kWh battery. Toyota also signaled plans for a hydrogen‑fuel‑cell version by 2028, highlighting the brand’s multi‑mobility strategy for the Turkish market.
