Japanese baseball games roll out 2026 player selections and VTuber collaborations

Konami Digital Entertainment announced that its mobile title Pro Yakyuu Spirits A will feature a new "2026 Prospirit Selection" roster. Twelve S‑rank players from Nippon Professional Baseball clubs—including SoftBank’s Kondo Kensuke, Hanshin’s Sato Teruaki, and the Giants’ R. Martínez—will be obtainable through scouting until August 14.

Power Pros 2026‑2027, released on June 11 for Nintendo Switch and PS4, adds a collaboration with the VTuber group Nijisanji. Four streamers—Rikako Igarashi, Yui Shina, Keisuke Maimoto, and Rize Helesta—appear as special collab athletes with unique abilities that boost team performance in the game’s Crown Nine mode.

Both updates expand the 2026 season content for Japan’s popular baseball video games, offering new player options and cross‑media tie‑ins for fans.
