Japanese baseball legends collection to be released

A special commemorative collection titled ‘Sadaharu Oh, Ichiro, and Shohei Ohtani: Japanese Baseball Legends Collection’ is being released through the Japan Post online shop. The collection honors three eras of Japanese baseball: the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa periods, represented by Sadaharu Oh, Ichiro Suzuki, and Shohei Ohtani.

Manufactured by The Highland Mint in the United States, the Japan-exclusive items include three distinct products: a Triple Coin Photo Mint featuring a large frame with bronze coins, a Triple Gold Coin Set with 22kt gold plating, and an acrylic plate with a bronze coin. Each item is limited to 5,000 units. Orders opened on October 26, 2026, with shipments scheduled to begin in February 2027.
