Japanese celebrities attend major fashion shows in Paris and Milan

Japanese celebrities Shunsuke Michieda and Rie Miyazawa have drawn significant attention during recent high-fashion events in Europe.

Shunsuke Michieda, a member of Naniwa Danshi, departed from Haneda Airport wearing Maison Valentino attire to attend the brand's Spring/Summer 2027 collection show in Paris. He was styled in a grey wool cashmere jacket and a light grey cotton sweatshirt featuring the “You can come to my Villa” print.

In Milan, actress Rie Miyazawa attended the Bottega Veneta Spring/Summer 2027 collection show as the brand's first Japanese ambassador. While appearing in a black faux fur ensemble coordinated by creative director Luisa Trotter, certain cropped images of her circulated on social media, leading to public debate regarding her appearance. While some users criticized the images as malicious crops, others expressed concern regarding her slender physique.
