Japanese celebrities feature Nissan and Isuzu vehicles in new videos

Comedian Jun Idota and his wife, Ami Hachiya, recently featured the Nissan Elgrand on Idota’s YouTube channel. The couple, who recently purchased a Honda Stepwgn e:Fev as a family car, tested the Elgrand to evaluate its features. They praised the vehicle’s high torque, quiet interior enabled by noise-canceling technology, and advanced driving assistance systems. Hachiya described the vehicle as a ‘perfect car’ that balances style and usability, though the couple decided not to proceed with a purchase at this time.

Separately, director Terry Ito shared the completion of a restoration project for his Isuzu Piazza on his YouTube channel. Visiting the Hatori Sheet Metal and Painting Workshop in Yokohama, Ito inspected the refreshed bumpers, restored seats, and rare Isuzu branding. He expressed high satisfaction with the craftsmanship, noting the timeless design of the vehicle originally produced between 1981 and 1994.
