Japanese companies launch new generative AI tools and training

Several Japanese companies are launching new initiatives and tools centered on generative AI applications.

Omron Corporation will begin a trial of ‘CX-One Agent’ on November 4, 2026. This software uses generative AI to support design and maintenance in manufacturing by searching, summarizing, and visualizing PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) program assets and technical manuals. The goal is to reduce labor hours for skilled technicians by over 50%.

Todo Onada Co., Ltd. is hosting a free online seminar on October 7, 2026, focused on measuring how generative AI ‘remembers’ specific companies. The session aims to help PR and marketing professionals use specific metrics to evaluate Large Language Model Optimization (LLMO) and ensure their brands are accurately represented in AI responses.

Dooox Co., Ltd. will hold a hands-on online program called ‘Special Mission AI Hands-on’ on October 19, 2026. The program is designed for individuals to learn how to build their own business efficiency tools, such as an automated quotation management tool, using AI without requiring professional programming experience.
