Japanese companies launch specialized AI services for commerce and construction

Several Japanese firms are introducing specialized AI solutions to address specific industry challenges. W2 Co., Ltd. has launched a customer service AI agent, ‘Findee’, as part of its W2 SmartHub platform. This tool aims to transform e-commerce sites into media-driven platforms by allowing customers to consult with AI for product selection, comparisons, and purchasing, while also automating routine inquiries through its ‘AI Staff’ feature.

LIDDELL Co., Ltd. has upgraded its AI Optimization (AIO) support services to include commerce. The service focuses on ensuring that product information—such as pricing, specifications, and images—is accurately represented when AI models generate comparison tables or product recommendations. This move responds to the shift in consumer behavior toward AI-driven product discovery.

In the construction sector, AI Data Co., Ltd. has introduced ‘AI Koumei on IDX’, an optimization AI designed to improve productivity and profitability. Unlike generative AI that focuses on document creation, this platform targets process optimization by managing data integration, predicting delays, and optimizing personnel and material allocation to resolve structural inefficiencies in construction workflows.
