Japanese confectionery companies launch new seasonal products

Henri Charpentier is launching a collaboration series with Miffy to celebrate the upcoming 100th anniversary of Dick Bruna. Starting November 1, 2026, the collection will feature financier products in limited-edition gift boxes, including seasonal designs for Christmas and Valentine's Day. The lineup includes financiers made with Hokkaido butter and Ugandan cacao.

Separately, Yamagata Pudding is introducing a new “Raw Caramel Pudding Financier” starting October 27, 2026. The product utilizes regional ingredients from Yamagata, such as Benibana eggs from Yonezawa, cherry blossom honey from Iide, and salt from Sakata. A limited-edition version featuring freshly baked financiers with caramel sauce will be available at the Yamagata Pudding Michi-no-Eki Zao location.
