Japanese cultural festivals announced for Guarulhos and Salvador
Various Japanese cultural festivals are scheduled to take place in Brazil. In Guarulhos, the 50th Ikoi no Sono Beneficent Bazar will be held at the Jardim de Repouso São Francisco on August 15 and 16. The event features Japanese gastronomy, music, and the traditional Tooro Nagashi lantern ceremony. International performers include singer Eduardo and Mariko Nakahira.
In Salvador, the 18th Japanese Culture Festival will take place from September 4 to 7 at the Parque de Exposições. This edition will feature four days of programming for the first time, including workshops, exhibitions, and musical performances. Notable guests include J-rock icon Nanase Aikawa, actress and voice actress Bianca Alencar, and digital content creator Henrique Marangon.
