Japanese culture and art featured in Italian exhibitions

Various cultural events celebrating Japanese traditions and contemporary art are taking place in Italy.

In Taranto, the Spazio CLAM is hosting the international exhibition ‘Orizzonti Sospesi’ from October 3 to 17. This project facilitates a cultural exchange between artists from Osaka and Puglia, featuring eighteen artists. The exhibition includes painting, photography, and mixed media, exploring the balance between Japanese spiritual tradition and modern innovation alongside works by Italian artists.

In Brescia, the Fuji Cultural Association is organizing two days of Japanese cultural activities at Spazio Agorà on October 3 and 4. The program includes tea ceremonies, kimono dressing demonstrations, Japanese language lessons, and cooking demonstrations. Visitors can also participate in sake tastings, view ikebana floral arrangements, and explore a photography exhibition titled ‘I mille volti del Giappone’.
