Japanese educational institutions announce upcoming school festivals

Various educational institutions in Japan have announced their upcoming school festival schedules for late 2026, featuring community engagement and industry collaborations.

Mimasu City Sports Medical and Nursing College will host its school festival and a medical/disaster prevention festival on November 3. The event includes booths from the Self-Defense Forces and fire departments, offering disaster prevention experiences such as cardboard bed testing and fire extinguisher operation. The festival also features food stalls and school information sessions for high school students.

Toyo Gakuen University’s Sports Management Seminar will hold its 34th Phoenix Festival on October 31 and November 1. As part of an industry-academic collaboration with the JFA Soccer Culture Creation Base ‘blue-ing!’ and the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO), students have organized a ‘golf x soccer’ experience event. Participants can engage in a mission bingo challenge that connects the university’s Hongo campus with the JFA facility to encourage active sports participation.
