Matt denies sexual assault allegations reported by Shukan Bunshun

Japanese entertainer Matt, the son of former baseball player Masumi Kuwata, has issued a strong denial following reports by Shukan Bunshun alleging he was involved in three cases of non-consensual sexual intercourse. The magazine reported that the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department had received complaints from men alleging they were intoxicated and subjected to sexual acts without consent.

Matt and his legal representatives have categorically denied the allegations, stating that no such sexual acts occurred. Matt claimed on social media that the reports were based on false complaints and questioned how such information was leaked to the press. He further alleged that the accusers were individuals seeking fame or financial gain, noting that they were physically larger than him and had participated in reality television shows.

Matt’s management company, Rose World, released a statement affirming that the reported actions did not take place and that they are considering legal action against the media outlet. Matt also disclosed that he has been diagnosed with an adjustment disorder due to the stress of the situation and the intense media scrutiny he has faced.
