Japanese entertainers Haruka Kodama and Yumi Wakatsuki announce anniversary photo books

Former HKT48 member and actress Haruka Kodama will release her third photo book on November 26 to commemorate her 15th debut anniversary. The collection, shot over one week in Sri Lanka, captures her final moments in her 20s. Kodama expressed a deep appreciation for the country and the sense of peace found during the shoot. Commemorative events are scheduled for late November and December in Tokyo and Fukuoka.

Separately, former Nogizaka46 member Yumi Wakatsuki is set to release her first art and photo collection, ‘FIRST EGOISM’, on September 18. The release has drawn significant attention due to promotional images featuring a more unconventional aesthetic, including tattoos and smoking, which contrasts with her previous idol image. The collection will also feature her paintings, and a portion of sales from an upcoming exhibition in Tokyo will be donated to animal shelters.
