Japanese fashion brands announce new collaborative bag collections

Several Japanese lifestyle and fashion brands have announced new collaborative product releases.

SOPHNET. is launching a special collaboration with L. L. Bean featuring the ‘BOAT AND TOTE’ series. The collection includes medium and mini canvas bags characterized by thick, high-density canvas and custom embroidery, including a scorpion motif and college-style patches. The release also includes long-sleeved T-shirts with color-blocked ribbed cuffs.

CIBONE has partnered with the Osaka-based bag brand ‘This is a(n)’ to release a limited edition ‘Base Tote’ collection. These bags utilize deadstock fabrics found in Japan, offered in natural and purple colorways. The collection is inspired by vintage US coal bags and military helmet bags, emphasizing durability and timeless design. The items will be available at CIBONE’s Brooklyn location and through their online store.
