Japanese film ‘Wara ni mo Sugaru Kemono-tachi’ features Hiroki Narimiya and Oji Suzuka
The suspense film ‘Wara ni mo Sugaru Kemono-tachi’, based on the novel by Keisuke Sone, is scheduled for release in Japan. Directed by Hideo Jojo, the story is a non-stop money survival suspense involving various characters whose lives intersect after the discovery of 100 million yen.
Actor Hiroki Narimiya, making his film return, discussed his role as Ryosuke Emato, a corrupt police officer with ties to the underworld. Narimiya described the character as an animalistic individual driven by instinct and weakness for greed. He noted that the film’s fast-paced, puzzle-like narrative may reveal new details upon multiple viewings.
Oji Suzuka, who plays the protagonist Kanji Sato, a college student and YouTuber, shared his impressions of the production. He highlighted the character’s inherent kindness and his motivation to care for his grandmother, distinguishing him from the more greed-driven characters in the film.
