Japanese fitness companies announce new expansions and partnerships

Several Japanese fitness and wellness companies have announced new business developments and expansions.

SMART GOLF has entered into a business alliance with Juchi Golf, a major golf membership brokerage established in 1970. As part of this partnership, SMART GOLF members will receive a 20% discount on contract fees when buying or selling golf memberships through Juchi Golf, effective September 24, 2026.

In the pilates sector, rollUP pilates studio announced its second location, rollUP pilates studio Tsujido, scheduled to open in the spring of 2027. Located within the Fitness & Spa Cocokara Tsujido in Kanagawa Prefecture, the studio will offer small-group machine pilates lessons using specialized equipment like reformers and towers.

Additionally, Sanfuku Holdings will open P・SPO Tsujicho in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, on November 6, 2026. This facility is designed as a multi-purpose complex featuring a strength-training-focused gym without aerobic machines, eight indoor golf bays, and an 18-seat study room.
