Japanese food companies launch autumn-themed seasonal products

Several Japanese food and confectionery companies are launching new seasonal products themed around autumn flavors starting September 1, 2026.

Kimuraya Sohonten will release two new bread varieties in the Kanto region: ‘Hitotsubu Kuri no Pan’, featuring chestnut dice and chestnut paste, and ‘Dashi Kaoru Kinoko Pan’, which contains a filling of four types of mushrooms seasoned with soy sauce and mirin, accompanied by a dashi-flavored jelly.

BAKE Inc., through its digital brand Shiroishi Patisserie, is launching a seasonal cookie tin titled ‘Shiroishi Yogashiten no Cookie Can ~Atelier no Hitoyasumi~’. The four-tier tin features various baked goods including sweet potato and chestnut-flavored cookies, priced at 4,320 yen. The product will be available via online shops and select event venues through January 2027.
