Japanese football clubs launch community education initiatives
Japanese professional football clubs are conducting community outreach and educational programs for local students.
Tochigi SC has announced its ‘Field Trip Day’ scheduled for October 21, 2026. Approximately 1,500 students from 11 elementary schools in Tochigi Prefecture will visit Kansekis Stadium Tochigi. The project includes various experiential programs such as universal sports training, stadium career education, disaster prevention tours, and medical science center demonstrations, culminating in a match against Laylac Shiga FC.
Separately, Nara Club goalkeeper Marc Vit and coach Genya Kurashina visited Narayama Elementary and Junior High School on September 14. The visit focused on international exchange and peace studies, where Vit shared insights into Spanish culture and history. He spoke to approximately 70 sixth-grade students about equality, respect, and the role of football as a universal language. The event concluded with the donation of a signed official ball to the school.
