Japanese frozen food companies launch new product lines

Nippon Ham Frozen Foods is expanding its frozen one-plate meal lineup with the September launch of two new products: a pizza plate paired with chicken nuggets and fries, and a focaccia plate featuring meatballs and cheese fondue. The company aims to leverage its expertise in dough quality to capture a growing market for convenient, single-tray meals.

Separately, the frozen food brand Wanmile, operated by Family Network Systems, has announced the adoption of Hiroshima-produced ‘Buchiuma Pork’ for its premium meal lines. Starting August 20, the brand will launch a minced meat cutlet (menchi-katsu) using this specific pork, which is raised in SPF-certified farms and fed a diet including domestic rice to ensure high quality and a mild flavor profile.
