Japanese goalkeeper Suzuki Ayane in PSG‑Parma transfer negotiations
Paris Saint‑Germain (PSG) is preparing a new offer to Italian club Parma to sign Japanese national team goalkeeper Suzuki Ayane. Reports say the player has already reached a principle agreement with PSG on a contract running until 2031.
Parma, however, has set a transfer price of €40 million (about ¥6.7 billion) including bonuses. PSG’s initial proposal of €33 million (≈¥6 billion) was rejected, and the French club is considering a higher bid but has not yet matched Parma’s demand. A further twist is the suggestion that PSG could acquire Suzuki and then loan him to Juventus for a season, though no purchase option is included in that scenario.
The negotiations highlight the high market value placed on the 23‑year‑old goalkeeper, who impressed at the World Cup and is attracting interest from top European clubs.
