Japanese gourmet e‑commerce sites showcase specialty foods like baked inari and amarin strawberry treats

Actor Masanori Sakai promoted the "焼きいなり" (baked inari) from Kaga Mori Oka on the TV program "PekoJani". The product uses thick, grilled tofu skin filled with sushi rice mixed with ingredients such as chicken, burdock, scallops and five‑grain rice. It is produced in Kaga City, Ishikawa, with tofu made from domestic soybeans, natural coagulant and Hakusan water. The items are sold frozen and can be reheated in a microwave, gaining praise online for their texture, flavor and convenience.

The online gourmet shop "食べごち" offers a range of regional Japanese foods, highlighted by its original "あまりんジェラート" made with the award‑winning Saitama "あまりん" strawberry. The gelato contains 60 % strawberry puree—far above typical levels—and is sold without artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners. The site also markets related products such as strawberry‑infused caramel and dried fruit, aiming to promote Japan’s food culture domestically and abroad.
