Japanese High Schools Hold Summer Cultural Festivals in July 2026

On July 25‑26, 2026, high schools across Japan staged major cultural festivals. One event, titled "アチアチ青春爆発フェスだゾ！" held its first day at the Shiroishi Community Center, featured student performances, a light music club, teacher acts, and attracted over 100 parents.

The Akita Prefectural 50th National High School Cultural Festival, known as "あきた総文," opened on July 26 with a parade and a photo exhibition at the Akita Prefectural Art Museum. The festival involved 48 schools and 1,167 participants, showcasing more than 300 works and offering various activities for visitors.
