Japanese high schools host AI design thinking lecture and corporate tours in 2026

The Pacific University’s Dream Navi Live event will be held online on 3–4 October 2026. Professor Kenji Okada from the Department of Modern Business Administration will give a lecture titled “Design Thinking in the AI Era,” teaching students how to turn everyday feelings of “something feels off” into new business questions. Registration opened on 20 July and participation is free for high‑school students, teachers and parents.

The Kakogawa Chamber of Commerce is also organizing a corporate‑site tour for local high‑school students on 3–7 August 2026. The free, week‑long program includes multiple company visits, with daily sessions from 12:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Additional slots were opened beyond the original 16‑July deadline. Applications are accepted via a Google Form, and students may sign up for more than one tour.
