Japanese high schools host open campus events

Several Japanese high schools recently hosted open campus events to showcase their facilities and programs to prospective students and parents.

Senshin High School held its second open school on September 19. The event featured performances by the brass band and baton dance clubs, followed by school administration briefings. Students participated in various hands-on activities, including food design, uniform trials, nail care, science experiments, and nursing experiences. The school also provided lunchroom treats and various club demonstrations.

Kyoto Kogakkan High School also conducted an open campus event, which included opening performances by the Blue Lilies brass band and the dance club. The program offered school life briefings, course explanations, and trial lessons. To enhance the visitor experience, the school's dining hall, Kogakkan Dining, provided free karaage bento meals to attendees. The school has scheduled further entrance examination briefings and open campus dates for the coming months.
