Japanese hot spring facilities announce seasonal services and recognitions

Several Japanese hot spring destinations are highlighting seasonal offerings and industry recognitions. In Hyogo Prefecture, the historic Izutsuya ryokan in Yumoto Onsen has been selected for the 51st edition of the ‘100 Best Hotels and Ryokans in Japan’. Established in 1702, the inn is noted for its high-temperature spring water and creative kaiseki cuisine prepared by award-winning Executive Chef Akihiko Inoue.

In Saitama Prefecture, Chichibu Yumoto Buko Onsen has announced new services for the autumn foliage season. Starting November 2026, visitors presenting a ‘Nagatoro Passport 2026’ will receive a complimentary towel rental set. Additionally, the facility will offer a limited-time sweet potato-based seasonal drink to coincide with the Nagatoro Autumn Foliage Festival.
