Japanese hot spring inns launch new specialized stay packages

The Kissho Yamanaka inn in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, will run a solo‑traveler retreat program from 22 June to 30 September 2026. Guests can enjoy private baths, afternoon tea, nightly traditional performances and optional activities such as rooftop yoga, river‑side sweets and local crafts. Room rates start at ¥23,000 for a semi‑double western room and ¥35,500 for a Japanese‑style suite with meals.

In Yoshioka Onsen, Tottori City, the postpartum‑care facility "産後ケア湯くるみ" opened in April 2026. It offers short‑stay (17:00–09:00) and day‑service options for mothers with infants up to six months old, providing a hot‑spring bath, meals and on‑site nursing support. Local residents pay ¥2,200 for meals only, while non‑residents are charged ¥45,000 for the stay.
