Japanese hotel chains announce new openings and renovations

Several hotel operators in Japan are announcing new openings and renovations to meet evolving travel demands.

In Aichi Prefecture, Route Inn Hotels has opened Hotel Route Inn Aichi Togo. Located between Nagoya and Toyota, the facility features 196 rooms, an artificial hot spring bath, and a buffet breakfast service.

Toyoko Inn is expanding its network with the upcoming opening of Toyoko INN Toyohashi Ekimae Odori in November 2026. The 215-room hotel, located near JR Toyohashi Station, aims to accommodate business travelers, students, and international tourists with an increased number of twin and double rooms.

In Tokyo, Tokyu Stay Shinjuku is undergoing a complete renovation to better serve the growing number of international visitors and group travelers. Reopening on September 29, 2026, the redesigned hotel will feature 120 rooms with significantly larger average floor space compared to its previous configuration.
