Japanese hotels announce themed Halloween menus

Several Japanese hotels are launching themed culinary offerings for the 2026 Halloween season.

SORANO HOTEL in Tachikawa will offer a seven-day limited Halloween menu from October 25 to October 31. The Daichino Restaurant will serve a Japanese-style afternoon tea featuring monster-shaped scones and bat-themed parfaits, while the rooftop bar will provide an interactive ‘Witchcraft Cafe Latte’ experience.

SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL is hosting a ‘STREAM Afternoon Tea ~Halloween Party~’ from October 1 to October 31. The menu includes themed items such as jack-o'-lantern citrus jellies, ‘cursed’ berry tarts, and savory dishes designed to look like brains or coffins.

SAPPORO STREAM HOTEL will hold a one-night-only ‘Deep Wonder Forest’ dinner buffet on October 31. The event features live performances of Tokachi herb beef roast beef and themed dessert plates, set within a mystically decorated forest environment. The buffet includes various seasonal dishes and a free-flow beverage service.
