Japan hospitality sector launches seasonal Halloween events and menus

Various hospitality and retail establishments across Japan are launching seasonal Halloween-themed offerings for October 2026.

In Tokyo, the Westin Hotel Tokyo will host a “Black & Amber” themed night featuring champagne, live music, and specialty bites. In Osaka, Chiikawa Bakery will release black cat-themed character breads and pumpkin soup.

In Okinawa, Fusaki Beach Resort Hotel & Villas is hosting a Halloween lunch buffet with themed dishes like “Dracula’s Chicken,” while Laguna Garden Hotel is offering a “Monster Sweets” afternoon tea.

Other regional highlights include themed menus at Universal Studios Japan, Halloween decorations and food at the Greenland amusement park in Kumamoto, and seasonal pumpkin-flavored items at Age. 3 and AMAZING COFFEE. Specialty food items, such as matcha and chocolate marble danishes at Fukuoka Airport, are also part of the seasonal rollout.
