Japanese hotels launch summer gourmet plan and Hokkaido BBQ rooftop beer garden

The Binario Hotels & Resorts venue "Yuam" in the mountain hot‑spring town of Yumura, Hyōgo Prefecture, will run a summer luxury dining plan from 16 June to 3 September 2026. The menu highlights local specialties such as white squid sashimi, abalone liver‑soy sauce roast, Tajima beef sukiyaki and Tajima chicken.

In Kyoto, the rooftop of the APA Hotel Gion EXCELLENT opened a "Kyoto Gion Beer Garden – Hokkaido Fair" on 19 June. The venue offers five charcoal‑BBQ set menus featuring Hokkaido meat specialties – North‑minded grilled beef, salt‑seasoned Hokkaido horumon, sweet‑vinegar‑bathed chicken nuggets and other regional dishes – priced between ¥4,500 and ¥7,500. Drink options include four Hokkaido draft beers and additional bottled selections, with opening‑day discounts of up to ¥1,000 and student discounts of ¥500.
