Japanese-inspired brands launch pop-up retail experiences in Singapore

Several Japanese-inspired brands are launching pop-up experiences in Singapore. MilkyShop has opened a pop-up at New Bahru’s Factory Block, offering its signature Butter Sand series. The collection includes four flavors: Crème Brûlée, Milk Caramel, Peanut Butter, and Matcha Butter Sand, the latter featuring Uji matcha from Japan. The shop offers a limited daily supply of 250 boxes priced at S$34.

Additionally, the Tokyo-based loungewear brand gelato pique is making its Singapore debut with a month-long pop-up at LUMINE Singapore in Raffles City. Running through September 2026, the event features an 84-piece summer collection including womenswear, menswear, and accessories for children and pets. The brand is known for its dessert-inspired, soft fabrics such as ‘GELATO’ and ‘SMOOTHIE’ textures.
