Japanese libraries announce September community events

Various Japanese libraries are hosting community events throughout September 2026.

Tateyama City Library will hold an event focused on learning about dementia on September 12.

In Toyohashi City, the Machinaka Library has scheduled a diverse lineup of activities. These include a disaster prevention talk by expert Takato Masuda on September 6, a screening of the ‘Oshiri Tantei’ animation on September 19, and a documentary screening regarding Japanese World Heritage sites, specifically Himeji Castle and the Ryukyu Kingdom, on September 11. Other scheduled programs include science experiments, magic shows, and balloon performances.
