Japanese lifestyle brands announce new retail and collaboration launches
Several Japanese lifestyle and apparel brands have announced new retail and collaboration initiatives.
Lii, the company behind the kids and ladies' footwear brand smibu, has launched its first in-store sales. Customers can now try on and purchase smibu products at Green Summit locations in Minami-machida Grandberry Park and THE OUTLETS SHONAN HIRATSUKA through the end of December 2026. The brand, which previously focused on online sales, offers various sizes and models, including the new mid-cut type.
In the apparel sector, United Athle is collaborating with producer and trackmaker STUTS for a limited-edition sweatshirt release. The collection, featuring graphics by Ryu Okubo inspired by STUTS' upcoming Budokan performance, will be available on October 17, 2026. A pop-up event will be held at FINETIME COFFEE ROASTERS in Tokyo.
Additionally, the high-performance sock brand OS1st has joined the 34th Hasetsune Cup mountain endurance race as an official partner. During the event held in Akiruno, Tokyo, on October 11–12, 2026, the brand will host a booth offering products at event-exclusive prices.
