Japanese local gatherings: corporate summer event and kimono circle meet

Arigatou Service Co., Ltd. posted a human‑resources blog announcing a summer‑time program at its Quaterme Housenbo facility. The promotion includes a stamp‑rally giveaway, a no‑lose summer lottery, a "penguin hunt" game and information about the venue’s August opening hours.

A separate blog from the Yamato Nadeshiko kimono circle reports a Saturday gathering in June. Eleven participants, including one newcomer, practiced half‑width obi tying techniques such as the "Karuta" knot, discussed seasonal fabric choices and enjoyed lunch at the renovated Matsumoto‑an restaurant. The meeting also included a visit to the late teacher Yoshizawa’s grave.

Both posts highlight community‑focused activities in Japan, emphasizing seasonal leisure and traditional dress.
