Japanese luxury hotels announce 2026 Christmas collections

Major Japanese hotels and dining venues have announced their 2026 Christmas collections, featuring seasonal cakes and luxury accommodation packages.

The Strings Omotesando is launching its ‘Joyful Christmas Collection 2026’, which includes a variety of options ranging from a signature strawberry shortcake to a ‘surprise gift cake’ that reveals chocolate when sliced. Reservations open on October 1, 2026.

Hyatt Regency Tokyo has unveiled its ‘White Christmas Collection 2026’, themed around snowy landscapes and hotel history. The collection features items such as a Christmas tree cake inspired by Mount Fuji and various stollen varieties. Reservations also begin on October 1.

In Yokohama, the Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers is reintroducing a ‘phantom’ strawberry mille-feuille, originally a famous item from Ginza Maxim’s de Paris, after 25 years. Their collection also includes a white chocolate tree-shaped cake called ‘Sapin de Noel’.

Hotel New Grand is offering specialized ‘Christmas Stay 2026’ accommodation plans in Yokohama. These packages include themed rooms, champagne, and Christmas cakes, alongside an ‘Advent Stay’ option that features an advent calendar and specialty flavored teas.
