Japanese Music Festival and Anime Convention Draw Tens of Thousands of Fans

The 25th Fuji Rock Festival was held at the Naeba ski resort from July 25‑28, 2024. Over four days the event attracted about 96,000 visitors who enjoyed live performances by more than 200 artists, midnight film screenings, a kids' land, and nightly free‑entry circus shows.

The Nico Nico Super Conference 2026 took place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on April 25‑26. The two‑day convention welcomed more than 138,000 participants, featuring a bustling “Super Cosplay” section where creators showcased a wide range of costumes, notably several highly detailed Hatsune Miku outfits. Other highlighted attractions included creator cross‑overs, dance performances and exhibitions from popular games and anime series.
