Japanese publishers Square Enix and Sega announce major game discount sales
Square Enix launched the "Square Enix June Sale Part 2" in Japan, discounting titles from the Seiken Densetsu series by up to 82% and offering steep cuts on several Final Fantasy releases. The sale runs on the PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, App Store, Google Play and Steam until early July.
At the same time, Sega opened a "Sonic Franchise Sale" on Steam, with discounts of up to 80% across Sonic titles. "Sonic Racing Crossworld" is offered at 50% off, while "Sonic × Shadow Generations" and other games receive 70%‑55% discounts. The Sega promotion ends on 26 June.
Both promotions target Japanese gamers and are part of broader discount events by major Japanese game publishers, covering multiple platforms and a wide range of titles.
