Japanese railway publications and Rinkai Line anniversary goods announced

Kotsu Shimbunsha has announced the release of the October 2026 issue of ‘Railway Diary Information’ on August 21, 2026. The issue features a special feature on the E233 series, marking 20 years since its debut on the Chuo Line Rapid service. It includes a 128-page supplement containing train formation and placement tables for JR East, JR Hokkaido, and JR Central.

Separately, Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit (Rinkai Line) will release its second round of 30th-anniversary commemorative goods on August 22, 2026. The merchandise includes logo-designed keychains and sticker sets featuring the line’s character, ‘Rinkaru,’ and various train models. These items will be available at Rinkai Line station ticket offices, excluding Osaki Station.
