Japanese Ramen Rankings and Historic Shops Highlighted

A 2026 ranking of Jiro-style and inspired ramen shops, based on approximately 3,436 votes from SUSURU viewers, has named Ramen Fujimaru (Kamiya Main Store) as the top establishment with 755 points. It narrowly defeated Ramen Ikedaya (Tokyo Takadanobaba Store), which secured 748 points. Other top-five entries include Edomondo (Nishi-Nippori), Ramen Butayama (unspecified location), and Ramen BooBoo Taro.

In Sapporo, long-standing ramen establishments continue to maintain their legacy. Darumaken, founded in 1947, celebrates 70 years of service with its traditional soy sauce ramen. Ramen no Daiko, operating for 50 years, remains a staple for its miso ramen, emphasizing the importance of serving food at high temperatures. Mogura, established in 1978 in the Susukino area, is known for its classic miso ramen featuring large portions of chashu and attracting both international tourists and local regulars.
