Japanese resorts launch winter travel campaigns

Several Japanese hospitality providers have announced seasonal promotions to encourage winter travel.

Midorinokaze Resort Kitayuzawa and Yumoto Horohoro Sanso in Hokkaido are offering a ‘Winter Travel Support Plan’ from December 1 to March 31. This plan includes a 1,000 yen voucher per person for use at the facility, such as for drinks or shop purchases. The resort also noted that its outdoor dog run will transition to an indoor facility starting November 24 to accommodate colder weather.

In Kita-Karuizawa, Yutorelo Garden Kita-Karuizawa with DOGS is launching a campaign starting November 1, 2026. The promotion includes free pet fees on weekdays for specific meal plans and a complimentary seasonal pizza for guests on select dinner courses. The facility also offers autumn and winter sale plans with discounts of up to 20 percent.
