Japanese restaurant chains Denny's and Sukiya roll out limited‑time discount coupons

Family‑restaurant chain Denny's will issue an app‑only coupon that reduces seven of its children’s menu items to ¥50 each on June 20 and June 22. The discounted dishes include the child’s lunch, burger, curry, ome‑rice, ramen, udon and pancake, all normally priced between ¥539 and ¥704. The offer is limited to children up to elementary school age, with one coupon per child.

Fast‑food chain Sukiya is offering an app‑exclusive “Father’s Day” coupon that cuts ¥80 off eel menu items such as unadon, unagyū, special unadon and special unagyū. The coupon runs from June 18 09:00 GMT to June 21 23:59, can be used up to three times per transaction and may be applied repeatedly during the period, though delivery orders and certain other promotions are excluded. Social media users praised the deal, noting they could purchase multiple eel bowls for families.
